
Hello, I’m Amy Rose, the heart behind Sacred Soul Sanctuary.
Like many people, I once lived life on autopilot. Years of corporate burnout and unprocessed grief left me carrying a heaviness in both body and mind. Eventually, that weight showed up as complex PTSD, and I realised I could no longer ignore what my body was trying to tell me.
My healing journey began with yoga, which became a lifeline for reconnecting with myself and my breath. Around the same time, I was also receiving Reiki, a practice I’ve turned to for over five years, to gently release what words couldn’t touch. Three years ago, I became a Reiki Practitioner, deepening my purpose as a Certified Yoga Teacher with a strong focus on functional movement. I’ve come to believe that mobility is the foundation of a healthy body, and an essential part of living with freedom and longevity.
Along the way, I also learned something that changed everything: so much of what we carry in adulthood comes from our childhood experiences. Trauma isn’t always obvious. It can be the silent weight of what wasn’t said, or the emotions we learned to suppress just to cope. Understanding how deeply these patterns live in the body guided me to become trauma-informed, so I can hold safe, supportive spaces for others who are ready to gently release what they’ve been holding onto.
Sacred Soul Sanctuary is the space I wish I had when I was searching for healing. Here, you’ll find Reiki, Yoga, and mindful mobility practices designed to support nervous system regulation, energetic release, and freedom of movement.
